Unless the Mayans were right and we all only have less than a week left on the planet, Christmas is coming around once again in a few short days. ?So what are your favorite NBA teams asking Santa to leave underneath their tree for them this year? ?We've checked their lists (twice) and have the answers. ?Next up:?the Northwest Division.
Oklahoma City Thunder
More of the same
The best record in the NBA (21-4). ?12-straight wins. ?Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka enjoying career years. ?Kevin Martin providing a spark off the bench. ?What more could OKC really ask for but more of the same?
Denver Nuggets
Home sweet home
People are wondering what is wrong with the Nuggets in the early going. ?The answer is simple - their schedule has been brutal. ?18 of their first 26 games have been on the road. ?Santa will be bringing them a much easier schedule from here on out.
Minnesota Timberwolves
Santa came early for the Wolves (on Dec 15th to be exact):
?
Utah Jazz
A 'star' point guard
The Jazz are loaded in the frontcourt and bare in the backcourt, so they're expected to trade one of their pending free agent big men, Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap, for some guard help. ?Fingers crossed Santa finds them a trade partner.
Portland Trailblazers
Luck on lottery night
The Blazers core group of players are all 27 or younger and the team is headed nowhere this season. ?They ?need some lottery luck next June so that they get a top 12 pick, or else their pick goes to the Bobcats due to a past trade.
