Also in April, George Maurer, best known as one of Minnesota?s premier jazz pianists, returned to his hometown, Sun Prairie, Wisconsin,?to?receive his latest?honor:? being named to the 2012 Wall of Success.

George Maurer experienced many performance highlights of the year as well.? He arranged music and performed with the Midtown Men, the Minnesota Orchestra, and the Houston Symphony Orchestra throughout the United States, and the premiere presentation of his composition Autumn Song was performed in Providence Town, Rhode Island this fall.
